Meet Shasta

Growing up in Invermere as a fifth-generation Columbia Valley local, Shasta has always had a deep connection to these mountains, rivers, and communities. Her love for movement and adventure has taken her all over British Columbia—ski patrolling, avalanche education, wildland firefighting, canoe and backpack guiding, and teaching yoga—shaping her understanding of bodies in motion and the importance of recovery.

Now back in the Valley, Shasta is thrilled to offer Registered Massage Therapy to the people of Golden and surrounding communities. She loves helping all kinds of clients feel seen, heard, and supported—whether you’re an outdoor athlete, someone with a physically demanding job, or simply looking for relief from tension or discomfort.

A graduate of Vicars School of Massage Therapy and a certified 200-hour yoga teacher, Shasta has also worked aboard a ship in Greenland, gaining unique experience providing massage in varied settings. Her approach is evidence-informed, trauma-informed, and always tailored to the individual, combining thoughtful assessment with hands-on care to support pain relief, mobility, and overall function.

Shasta strives to create a calm, welcoming space where every client feels comfortable and empowered in their care. She is excited to serve the Columbia Valley, helping people move well, feel better, and enjoy life to the fullest.
